Hi there, we’re The Ferranti family. Steph, Eric and Scarlett.
Our family is pulling together and getting through these uncertain times, much the same as everyone. First and foremost, we’re staying home! And that’s sort of new for us. We’re used to being on the go a lot, as many of us are. We’re keeping busy with all the things a 2 year old loves. Crafting, baking, playing silly games, exploring in the yard, walks in the wagon, and The Wiggles, and video chats!
Although our daily prayer life and weekly attendance at mass is always a work in progress, I think this season of abrupt change and challenges has allowed God to start working in our home. We have a new sense of family, an appreciation for time, health and teamwork, and a new perspective on what is really important to us. I miss our church more now than I realized I would. Isn’t it true that you always appreciate what you had, after it is gone? Luckily these things are gone only temporarily, and we can use this time to reset; something we feel our home has been needing! We’re focusing on remaining thankful and patient, and taking things one day at a time. Which is easier to do now that I recognize God working in us.
