We are the Lopez Family, originally from Perú, Carlos my husband, me (María) and Marcelo our 9 year old kids. Because of the pandemic, my son and I have been in isolation since March 13th and my husband since April 3rd. At the beginning it was very difficult to cope with everything and to use the time, specially on Sundays when we used to go to Church, because Marcelo specially enjoyed and the cathequesis. As a family of faith we pray every night, for people with Covid-19, specially for those suffering on those countries like Peru where they have a different reality.
We have been working on getting closer as a family doing different things, one of them is, over the weekends, we listen to biblical stories for kids, as we trying to teach him good values like compassion, forgiveness, discernment between bad and evil, and helping the less fortunate.
Our love for God and his mercy has helped us to coupe with being away from our families, and one way we are trying to help is by praying for them each day hoping we will see each other soon.
Thank you NCWCFOP for giving us the opportunity to share our story with all of you. We hope to see you soon.
