The Okhakhu Family

It’s been a period of deep reflection to serve God and humanity. It’s been a period of deep praise and worship, focusing more in prayers and reciting the rosary with the kids. It’s been a period of self realization that life is transient and fickle. A call to be selfless, forgive more, heal and let go of the past.
During this pandemic, God has brought more people into my life... strangers who have taught me the meaning of humanity. It has also been a time for rest and focusing more on myself and the things that matter most in life. I have a deeper relationship and understanding of who my children are. I have also learned in uncanny ways that all God requires from us is; “Obedience, Patience, and a contrite Spirit.” God wants a place (Heart) where he can dwell and manifest His Glory and Power. I have also learnt to listen more, talk less, and be sensitive in the spirit.
I am also humbled by the number of people who reached out, sending us gifts in kind and cash... my family have been praying for you all, asking God to protect us and let there be a cure for the virus. We prayed the novenas, rosary, and read passages from the bible. I thank God that we are well, safe, and happy!
