The Webster Family

Hi everyone.,we’re the Webster’s. Our son’s are 13 and 9 and they miss school and their friends dearly. My husband Scott and I both have careers that are deemed essential services. We’ve had to rearrange our work schedules since COVID-19. But we are both passionate about our positions and care deeply about the people we serve everyday. Although I miss the normalcy of every day, I do enjoy spending this isolation time with our family. It has brought us back to basics like watching movies together, going for walks and playing board games. I’m am thankful for that. Maybe in this dark time there is a little bit of light. I find myself praying more often these days too. Praying for the essential workers out there, for the people who are not working and just asking God to keep everyone healthy and safe. I hope this time will also teach our children to be the helpers in a bad situation. And, maybe we will teach them how to be calm and brave in the midst of a storm.
