Hi all, this is the Wilson / Martin family just checking in during our covid-19 quarantine. We first want to say hello to everyone and hope that you're doing well and these especially trying times
We're finding that our whole world has been turned upside down. We are generally a very busy family always taking advantage of new adventures and therefore being kept at home is quite new to us and challenging. The weeks we have Alex we have been homeschooling doing art playing outside going for walks and really enjoying our family time together.
Both Dennis and I are still working and to that end we have great anxiety and anxiousness each and every day when we are out. We are doing our best to be careful and stay well. I myself am the caregiver for my mom who is sick with cancer and so I have to be especially cautious so that I can continue to be there when she needs me even if it's at a distance. I also work with adults with disabilities. Dennis is driving the truck daily and can end up in multiple locations during his day. Fear and anxiety are present everyday. We constantly have to remind ourselves that we didn't cause this and we are not the only ones who are going through this.
We are finding ourselves disconnected with church at the moment because we are very hands on people. We don't find watching on TV or Internet quite the same. We very much miss our church family, Fr. Greg Fr. Dave and Fr. Len. We look forward to their videos each Wednesday and the letters that Fr. Greg has posted. This doesn't feel much like Easter and celebrating is hard. We know we will get through this we know that it's one day at a time and as the plaque in our home says "if he brings you to it, he will bring you through it". That is the motto that we tend to live by. We will get through this challenge and be stronger for it.
Lots of love and God bless
Cheri, Dennis and Alex
