St.Vincent de Paul Lenten Program

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul      
Conferences at St. Theresa, Most Precious Blood and Our Lady of Guadalupe Churches have continued in 2022 to service the people in need in our community with food and vouchers for furniture and clothing.

So far this year, St.Theresa has provided food for 11 families, Most Precious Blood 42 families and Our Lady of Guadalupe 48 families.  The need has continued to  increase.  Together at OLOG and MPB our average   number of deliveries per week in 2020 was 8, in 2021 9.6 and 2022 so far 13.

A number of parishioners have asked when they can bring canned foods to church again and we are pleased to announce that SSVP boxes will be placed at the churches’ entrances beginning the weekend of March 5th and 6th.

We ask that you consider donating according to the following guidelines:

Week 1 Peanut Butter & Jam

Week 2 Canned Fish/Meat

Week 3 Cereal and Canned Fruit

Week 4 Soup, Canned Vegetables,Spaghetti Sauce

Feel free to donate whatever food and drop off at one of our three Churches.
